Family Law Solutions Australia was established by Christopher McDevitt who has practised in Family Law for over 25 years. Until recently Chris was the Managing Partner, as well as the Family Law Partner, in a large regional law firm. He left this firm to establish Family Law Solutions.

Chris has also spoken about family and relationship legal issues on commercial radio for 10 years.
Chris has extensive experience in all types of Australian family law and relationship matters – from contested cases in the Federal Magistrates Court to representing high net worth individuals in complex property matters in the Family Court. Chris has a detailed knowledge of trusts, companies, taxation law and valuation methodologies. He has also represented many clients in defacto property disputes in the Supreme and District Courts.
Chris’s extensive experience has also included participating in mediation on behalf of clients as well as assisting clients to mediate their own settlements.
In addition to family law practice Chris also represents clients in the Supreme Court in Will disputes and Estate claims under the Family Provision Act, 1982 and the Succession Act, 2006.
